Teams, Microsoft's answer to Slack, is now available in 181 markets and in 19 languages. Teams is a chat based work space designed to make it easier for teams to work together by centralizing communications (chats can be organized by team or project) and integrating with other Office 365 programs.
The foundation of Microsoft Teams is established on four cornerstones: a hub for teamwork, enable today’s teams to chat, make it customizable and contain the level of security that teams trust.
For companies with compliance needs, Microsoft recently added support for audit log search, eDiscovery and legal hold for channels, chats and files as well as mobile application management with Microsoft Intune. Microsoft Teams also supports global compliance standards such as; SOC 1, SOC 2, EU Model Clauses, ISO27001 and HIPAA.
